Very pretty. Has anyone ordered A330s with the Airspace interior? I'm curious for how many carriers will actually opt for this. I wonder if the diamond lighting is customizable like it is in the A330 Airspace cabin as well. Either way this is finally very competitive in esthetic to the sky interior offered on 737s.

TAP Portugal will take the A330neo with Airspace interior.

Looks stunning, a far cry from some of the bland poorly lit tubes flying around at the moment.

Is the Airspace cabin an option for the A330neo? I was under the impression it was the standard cabin.

Finally a response to Boeing's (nice) BSI on the 737 and 787.

That looks very nice. Certainly an improvement. :)

Looks great, definitely an improvement over current narrow-body cabins (BSI excluded).

Don't they already have an A350 style cabin with pivot bins as an option? (DL has it on its A321s but it looks like most NEOs are being delivered with the traditional enhanced cabins). Or is that a third party interior?

Delta has third party bins being installed in their A320 and A319 fleet.

And the A321s from Airbus have indeed been delivered as an option direct from Airbus.

It's interesting that they don't include the pivot bins in this new cabin, however perhaps continuing their current design allowed more flexibility to have the largest bin in the class.

Gorgeous! BSI was great in it's time but this is much more 'now'... time for Boeing to tweak the 'sky' a bit, perhaps remove the 'vagina' look in the ceiling.

Looks great. Should have been launched a long time ago though. BSI has been flying for 7 years now.

Perhaps but Airbus has been making small, incremental changes to it's A32S cabins over the years, the bins have gradually become more sculpted, handles updated, cabin walls have also been redesigned a few years ago so the current cabin look far better than the 737NG pre-Sky cabins.

Well I'd hope they would look better than the 90s cabin...

Looks nice and its about time. The 320 series cabins have long been in need of an upgrade.

I'm puzzled by this. I thought the (very nice) cabin that Delta has on their A321s was due to become the new standard Airbus narrowbody cabin? It's great for taller guys like me, as it greatly increased head room while in the aisle and seated, and (I feel)also made the window seats feel more spacious due to the upward sloping pivot bins, rather than the flat bottomed shelf bins. Has that interior now been scrapped?

Any design with shelf bins is lipstick on a pig. Come on, Airbus, this is the 21st century. Get with it. The 3rd-party options or the new optional A320 designs are the real improvements.

I am also confused as I thought DL's cabin was meant to be the new standard...
Either way, more bin space is sorely needed. With 180(+)-seat A320's now the standard in Europe, no longer on LCC's but on legacies, the current bins - designed for a 150-seat aircraft in the era of free checked bags - are a real problem. And this despite the stronger hand baggages rule enforcement versus the US.

WOW it looks amazing can't wait to see it in real life but why does it take until 2020 to introduce it?

Shelf bins? Whenever I board an airplane with shelf bins it seems archaic... I've been spoiled by the BSI AS 739 running between SEA and PHX. The pivot bins make loading and unloading easier while also increasing head room and making the cabin feel bigger. Airbus seems to be relying on fancy lights. Looks pretty, but in practicality not as comfortable or efficient. IMO a blown opportunity by an otherwise smart manufacturer. Will the A330neo also feature shelf bins?

While I applaud the "larger lavatories" suggestion, I don't really see what real-world difference it makes, in a world where carriers are going to the "SpaceFLEX" concept of two lavatories carved into the aft pressure bulkhead along with the galley.
Airbus can woo-woo people with beautiful press releases all they want (both A and B specialize in that trick), but it makes no difference when airlines won't install these optional features.

It does look good in the mockups. I like the windows. Personally I like DLs Airbus look the most.

Seems interesting the bins if they are a shelf style. Then again, maybe they see the writing on the wall that airlines are going to be charging for bin space so max capacity/ease of use isnt a priority.
