Air Midwest

I was wondering if anyone has dealt with Air MidWest much? How have you found them to be, i.e. on-time performance, maintenance record, etc.?

They're part of Mesa Air.

I've flown them once and they were ok.

I've flown them Phoenix to Prescott several times on their Beech 1900Ds. They've never let me down. There is no hot meal or inflight entertainment, but it's OK for what it is. Give them a shot.....you will find them at your nearest America West Express ticket counter.

What equipment does AirMidwest operate? I would imagine Beech 1900's but maybe something bigger?

Beech 1900Ds. They're hub is at my home airport here in Kansas City. You see almost the entire fleet on the ramp in the morning and evening, but during the day sightings are fewer and farther in between. They operate feeder flights for USAirways and Midwest Express. But they're painted in USAirways Express colors, mostly the old colors. I've only seen one in the new livery. It was good looking though!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Air Midwest is owned by Mesa Airlines. They operate in PHX as AWA Express, MCI, TPA,MCO,MSY as USAir Express. Also, they operate in ABQ and COS under the Mesa Airlines colors. They do have quite a few Beech1900D's in the new USAir livery. Have also won numerous awards from FAA for maintenance. Have fun,
