Re-regulate The Airlines

Tue Feb 26, 2002 8:49 am

Hey,

I have a project for school. I need to prove why it is a good idea to re-regulate the airline industry. I ask only for positive replies please. It's just a school project. Thanks for the help!

Well for starters, do YOU feel it's a good idea?

It will be very difficult to prove a position that you do not personally believe in.

How do you feel that the pax would benefit?

What are some specific key areas that you feel the passengers would be better off than they are now?

"Because"

is not an acceptable answer and will not float your debate.

I didn't ask for a debate from you. I want information to support it. This wasn't my choice to do this subject.

I'm not trying to engage you in a debate.

nevertheless you dodged my question faster than President Clinton dodged ethics questions.

You stated that you HAVE a position. Now what is the basis for it?

First rule of a position paper and soliciting information:

Clarify to us your stance.

If you FEEL that the pax would be better off, then tell us why and we'll go from there. That opinion couldn't have been formed in a vaccuum.

On the other hand if you were "forced" (for lack of a better term) to take the pro side of this issue, then that's an altogether different matter.

In which case, it would behoove you to ask the question from the "How would passengers be better off if the airlines were re-regulated" angle.

I'm suggesting you re-read my last few replies and then you tell us.

so you are calling me a liar? I asked the question. I stated that i needed to know why it's a good idea to re-regulate the airlines. And i wanted input from people. Not the grilling i'm getting from you. So if you aren't going to help me, then quit posting.
