- Boeing now producing 747-8’s at a rate of 0.5 per month.
- Only two not delivered airframes (L/N1435 and L/N1545) are present at Everett.
- Officially both airframes (L/N1519 and L/N1523) , destined to become the new presidential aircraft,,are sold by Boeing at October 31th 2017 and the new owner is the PAR program.

That’s the last passenger version in the orderbook. The only built frame left is L/N 1435 which was rumoured to be lined up as parts for the US presidential flight program.

L/N 1495 was ntu by Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight and was acquired by Qatar Amiri Flight. L/N 1446 was destined for the Saudi Arabian Government but was also not taken up because somebody of the royal family died. As far as I know it is still parked without a customer at the Euroairport Basel/BSL.

No problem. That's right. I'm not sure but was there not some sort of speculation about L/N1446 being potentially bought back by Boeing. It has been sitting at BSL for 5 years now. Although I might have mixed that up possibly.

ABC has been ordering their frames only as they have needed them ever since the actual announcement of the MoU. The original 5 frame order is listed under Volga-Dnepr, and the 7 frames to date that have been ordered and delivered for the MoU are listed under Air Bridge Cargo, even though they are not always directly owned by ABC themselves.

My guess is that we will see them continue to follow this pattern, perhaps only breaking it by firming a larger number than 1 or 2 if they see their growth accelerating.

Nothing on order at the moment, but when they confirmed their order for 2 at the delivery of their first frame, they did talk about potentially ordering more frames in the future.

It is serving in support of the VC-X Presidential Transport program. I am guessing testing systems and production standards for the two Transaero NTUs that will become the VC-X frames.

how many 747-8i are delivered but not flying for any reason, i know most of them are BBJs ..

We should also add the two Transaero NTUs since they have been purchased by the USAF for the VC-X program but are currently in storage at VCV:

L/N 1519 - 747-85M , RC076, serial number 42416, Transaero Airlines #1 NTU, EI-MOW, N894BA, owner : Boeing Company, white livery, roll-out May 12 2015, F/F November 02 2016, Ferried to Lackland AFB (KSKF) at November 16 2016. Returned to KPAE at December 14 2016. Ferried to Victorville (KVCV) at February 20 2017 for storage. Thank you for the comprehensive list. One would wonder why the Qatari Royal Family would chose L/N 1495 which was ntu by Abu Dhabi Royal Flight, instead of L/N 1468 VQ-BSK since the latter is now fully furnished and was ordered by previous Qatari Ruler. The aircraft is still being advertised for sale. Jaw dropping interior btw.

Perhaps they want a different interior configuration and would prefer a "green" airframe to work with.

Picture has been taken before the Everett delivery center, KLM 789 PH-BHO and UPS 747-8F N609UP, both delivery flights at the same day (March 29th).
