Who Serves The Most U.S. Cities

Fri Mar 01, 2002 6:04 am

I am wondering which airline serves the most cities in the U.S., including cities served by its regional affiliates.

My guess would be Delta and their regionals (ACA,ASA,Skywest....)

I think that has been the debate about which airline is the biggest.

American has the most planes

United has the most passengers

but Delta has the most destinations or something like that.

HlywdCatft,

United has no where CLOSE to as many passengers as Delta, and is behind American as well.

AA has the most planes, and departures

DL and their connection airlines(since they OWN ASA and Comair) serve the most destinations and carry the most passengers.

No, UA, maybe if you considered their connection carriers, but they don't own any(i don't think). Delta however DOES own Comair and ASA, so definitely Delta serves the most destinations.

So Thumper is correct because the post said to include the regional affiliates.
