What Airline Uses The Callsign "Kansas"

Fri Mar 01, 2002 12:04 pm

Hello, I do a lot of flying in the Austin area, and lately I keep hearing flights operating under the name "Kansas" on ATC frequencis in and around Austin.

I suppose I could be hearing the name wrong, but does anyone know of any airline that uses the name "Kansas" for its flight ops? There are no airlines that i know of that have kansas in their name. Is it a new startup or what?

Just wondering, thanks!

Kansas is the call sign for Raytheon Travel Air. Like Execjet, they offer fractional ownership in jets and props.
