Has MK relaunched GVA service ?

Fri Feb 09, 2018 9:08 pm

Like earlier today, I was watching traffic over France on flightradar and noticed a MK almost above Mont-Blanc. First I thought it was a flight from LHR or CDG but when I clicked on it MK59 turned out to have departed GVA. Apparently there was a flight a week ago and another is scheduled for next week. Have they changed their mind ?

MK has relaunched a seasonal weekly (Nov to end Feb) service with A343 between MRU and GVA.
MK has already confirmed next season's schedule from early Nov to end of March. They will be flying their new A339.

Interesting, they may have found a way to serve the market without being year-round. Hopefully they'll manage to remain on time, unlike a few years ago. Did you meant A359?

I think MK is doing a lot of things wisely this time around.

"Air Mauritius announced the introduction of two new Airbus A330-900 (New Engine Option – neo) aircraft, on long term operating lease from Air Lease Corporation (ALC), in September and October 2018 in replacement of two A340-300E aircraft whose leases will expire in November and December 2018."
