YYC Spotters

Mon Mar 04, 2002 1:34 am

Good news for us Calgary aviation enthusiasts, starting April 7th, Air Canada is scheduled to start flying a 744 on the YYC-LHR route. Inbound flight will be 851, and outbound is 850, departure of 1915. It looks like it will be here for the month of April and after that who knows, if we're lucky it may stay. Lets hope so! It would be nice to see a 744 here regularily.

Its good news. Hope to see it as itll be replacing the A340 or the 767.
Ramprat: are you employed at the airport?
It says that in your occupation profile you are the lead hand for Air Canada? and I do not have a clue to what that is.

Lead hand would mean that he's to direct, supervise and co-ordinate the guys on the ramp and to make sure nobody's sleeping in the baggage carts.

I think that the upgrade in aircraft is at YEG's loss of LHR service.
