New Gulf Air Uniform

Mon Mar 04, 2002 9:35 pm

Gulf Air ground staff will be wearing new uniforms from March 1. The new collection which will be distributed to over 1000 ground staff has been designed by French haute couture designer Pierre Balman who also designed the current Cabin Crew uniform over 2 years ago. The designs include a men’s uniform and three women’s outfits. The airline’s Bahrain International Airport ground staff previewed the new uniforms on 20th February.

Above at the preview are from left Gulf Air Head of Ground services, Peter Cross ground staff Souad El Haimer, Redha Karim, Hasna Bokantar, Tariq Al Alawi and Samya Bader, Gulf Air Airport Manger Mohammed Salehi and Gulf Air customer services manager Najma Mohammed.

It looks good, but I prefer Emirates's ones. Just my 2 cents! Smile/happy/getting dizzy

They should go back to the drawing board, those FA uniforms look awful. The design staff has certainly lost it's touch since the good ol' days. I remember seeing the Gulf Air FAs in Heathrow many times in the late70s and early 80s and their uniforms were far superior to what they're wearing today.

They look pretty nice but no airline can beat Saudi Arabian f/a unifroms.
