A visual glimpse of where Air China flies its highest-capacity aircrafts B748, B77W, A333, B789 intercontinentally

Mon Apr 16, 2018 10:08 am

The maps below give a visual glimpse of roughly where Air China sends its highest-capacity aircrafts to fly on its intercontinental long-haul route network featuring B748, B77W, A333, B789

Any comments or thoughts?

Notes:
1 Red routes show the availability of daily service; green routes indicate non-daily service
2 "Intercontinental" here denotes a concept of 7 continents (If you think otherwise, that's fine, but do plz refrain from arguing over the continent issue here)

it is clear the Chinese airlines are still mainly regional
SQ and CX seem to have far more intercontinental flights and frequencies

What is CA flying to SVO right now? I'm assuming it's an A330 or 777 variant.

PEK-SVO is under the A333 map. It's mostly flown by A333 with A332 on that route here and there.

In fact, all the other SVO-China routes are flown by A332/A333 on Chinese carriers. The only exception is CZ6001/6002, LHW-URC-SVO, which is on a 738
