Looking For Flight Training In Sydney

Fri Mar 08, 2002 1:01 pm

Hi everyone!

I have recently moved from Auckland NZ to Sydney, NSW, Australia, where I am studying aeronautical and space engineering (at University of Sydney). I am wondering if anyone would be able to point me in the direction of flying schools in this city. I am presuming they will all be out at Bankstown. What I want to know is what ones are good, well known, etc etc. In particular I am looking for one that uses Piper PA38 Tomahawk, or Cessna 172.

Relatively unrelated, where is a good place to go spotting here in Sydney?

Cheers

There used to be a great spot near the Cooks River on the approach to rwy 07, but with the new motorway, the view is obscured.

Glad to see a fellow USyd student!

email me if you want to meet up (I'm pretty busy usually though)
