They could be using A-310 aircraft on this route for the summer. Presently, they are using the 310 on their Canada -Mexico/Latin America winter routes.

Probably will see mostly 757's but could see a few A310's every now and then. That's what I think, so there is no fact to back this up.

This is listed in the OAG? They're operating this as a scheduled service rather than charter?

You asked about AirTransat TO Newcastle. So if the flight TO Newcastle is on Thursday then surely Karliboy is correct in referring to departure FROM Newcastle on Friday?

TS used A310,A330,B752,L1011 through NCL last summer. On weekly flight, I guess 757 or 310. Nowt on OAG.com, NCL-YYZ is a thursday charter flight.

I thought TS were getting rid of the 757's anyway? The A310 will be their most frequent visitor to European destinations. I know BHX are getting the fat Airbus on Tuesdays, and the L-1011 (500) on Saturdays. Dunno what is happening with the A330 - Are they still restricted following the Azores glider incident?

The 332/333 is still ETOPS-restricted (at least, I haven't heard that its been rescinded by Transport Canada). TS can still operate the 332/333 across the pond....they just need to make a more circuitous (and less efficient) routing.

TS is getting a 3rd new 332 from Airbus this spring. They still have the one odd-ball 333.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.
