Airtours Int'l - Manchester-Barbados Question

Just a quick one, which somebody may be able to answer...

What aircraft type are Airtours International using on their SUNDAY MAN-BGI flights? I'm not even sure of the flight number.

I know the Monday flight is operated by an A330-200, but according to the Airtours brochure the Sunday flight is due to be operated by a B767-300, but I thought they were still employed on Hajj flights?

I'd appreciate it if anybody knows what aircraft type it is, B767, DC-10, SkyService A330?

The Sunday flight is AIH039 and is operated by DC10

Thanks, that's just the info I was looking for, I'm assuming the A330 stopping in the Azores for fuel will be C-FBUS rather than a longer ranged Airtours A330-200

AIH039 MAN-SMA-BGI (EGCC-LPAZ-TBPB if you perfer!) Is being operated this morning by C-FBUS, the SkyService A330, with my family on board.

Interestingly they were assured by the travel agents that the flight was non-stop. I'm quite jealous, Santa Maria in the Azores are one of the places I'd like to see to have a look at how people crossed the Atlantic in the piston and early jet days. It's quite rare for a flight to stop there nowadays.

I have in the past experienced Bangor, Maine during a snowstorm on a Trans-Atlantic fuel stop, which was interesting. Personally I'd take a flight with an en-route fuel stop over a non-stop flight anyday...

im showing an aih071 egcc-cyqx a333 on flt explorer.
i think this flt also ops to tbpb . dont it ?

When I checked AIH039 the equipment was showing as a blank, but I assumed it was C-FBUS because a 763/D1C/332 can all make EGCC-TBPB non-stop.

Just checked AIH071 EGCC-CYQX-MKJS (Montego Bay) and that is indeed showing as being opb A333.

No idea what's operating AIH039 then!!!

Possibly a DC-10-10, but I didn't think they were using them accross the Atlantic when they've also got a -30.

AIH071 is MAN-MBJ and should be operated by a 333
