AOM DC-10 At Toronto

Tue Mar 12, 2002 3:57 am

Yesterday at exactly 6:33PM. I saw a DC-10 of AOM French airlines, my first DC-10 in a
long time. Is this a regular flight, and can anyone tell me the plane's registration?

It was Cubana.

Cubana just received approval to operate a wet leased (that is...aircraft and crew) DC-10-30 F-GTDF of Aerolyon for its Canadian service. This is in effect until the end of May.

I know that in the past they were leasing an AOM DC-10 for the service.

Aerolyon is new to me.

I just saw this plane at MEX in the morning as I was arriving from MTY. It was boarding passangers to Havana.

Aerolyon...a French leisure/charter carrier.

Cubana will soon begin using the Aerolyon DC-10 rather than the AOM example that they have been using.
