Unidentified US 773 Customer

Wed Mar 13, 2002 1:11 am

Does anyone know who is the unidentified customer in US that ordered several 777-300 (I'm not sure whether if it's the standard type or -ER) on Dec 31, 2001?

This was on Boeing's website.

Could this be ILFC?

According to a previous post..it might be Southwest.

Na is most likely correct-- AF via ILFC.

Jiml1126,

What makes you think it is a U.S.-based company?

According to Boeing's website, it is just an "Unidentified" order.

I think it's Delta Air Lines. Like Hamlet69 said, it doesn't say if it's a US or foreign customer but my guess is that the Unidentified orders for both the 777-200ER and 777-300 are for one airline and the number of planes matches the number of MD-11s in DL's fleet. Other guess would be KLM or Emirates. The777Man

I go for Japan Airlines (DC-10 replacement), Air France has ordered the -300ER, the ones Boeing lists are standart -300s, five of them. ILFC could be, however then they already have a customer for them. Unlikely IMO.
