A Monarch comes this saturday bringing its A330s.. UNless if they are both gone for painting it will be sad but I think at least 1 of the 2 will be flying to YYC.
Ah Better catch her quickly whilest her colors last.

The new ones look alright.

ATA used to fly a 757-200 ( N521AT) that we picked up from Monarch in the old colors. We named it " bumble bee". It has since been repainted.

About time! This has to be one of the most jaded and unimaginative liveries at the moment and the new one should do away with that; as the Monarch customer poll put it (very euphemistically!), the current one is "outdated"!

The new colours are a huge improvement I think, eventhough I did like the old one too, but compared to the new design it does look old dull.

Very good, I like it a lot, I do like this wavy trend in new liveries. The A330 looks especially very good, can't wait to see it alive.

I liked the old colours. I think the older ones gave the airline a stronger image.

I must say whoever came up with this did very well.
monarch were always very proud of their heritage and this livery keeps in with the gold but seems to bring it right up to date.

I really like it.. certainly the best UK Charter scheme.

Finally, we're getting airlines who do have a clue about proper asthetics in terms of airplane liveries!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Hi,

Thanks to Lee Collins I can display the picture of the first aircraft showing the new Monarch colours.

See http://surf.to/spotter and select the new colour section from the topmenu.

regards,
Marcel

The Logo part of the livery is spot on. But the rest of the paintjob is poorly designed. It doesn't hold together well as a coherent unit, and it certainly does not leverage the new logo well. The titles are also a bit weak.
