Due Dates For Sjc?

Sat Mar 16, 2002 4:56 am

The new Federal Inspecition building at SJC is almost complete, but when is it expected to be done? When international flights are not being operated at those gates, who will be using the gates?

Also, when are they going to start repaving the other runway at SJC?

Thanks! SJCguy

From what the latest is the new FIS building is scheduled to be complete around July. Once complete US Customs wants six weeks to "practice" in the facility before it can open. That will put it August-ish for INTL flights. In that six week interim it will be used for domestic. When not in use for INTL flights AA will use it for transcons and other widebody operations. Per your previous post where WN picks up A7 & A8, this is when AA moves to the other end in FIS and gives up A7 & A8.
