Will I get into trouble now?  Wink/being sarcastic

Maybe to defend myself, please note that I also took the currently most popular Ryanair photo at a.net:

And all this from an employee of one of Michael O'Leary adversaries...

Of course, they can't sue you. But in any case, I never heard your name before  Smile/happy/getting dizzy Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Nice comment, though! Specially after Ryanair's comment on one of their aircrafts.

SQ325, this FR aircraft was operating a ski charter flight, it wasn't a regular low cost flight.
Yes, maybe I will succeed to become (in)famous at FR...

All airlines should take care about their aircraft's appearance. I think that 732 should have been washed a month ago. It really takes some time to become that dirty!

In any case, their are also many examples of well known (expensive) airlines with dirty planes... and SR is an example for that.

Hi!
Marlo be careful with your comments. Some people may this take to serious. Why? See my comment on this picture

and heres an E-Mail I got (translated):
--
"I think Austrian Airlines also hasnt got the cleanest machines. Apart from that the sticker is an interim solution. I have until now not seen any airline which is able to repaint their machines in one day. I dont know if that is different in Austria or Germany. Despite the nasty comment on your picture ....... "
--
Conclusion:
Some people take things too serious. Want to guess which country the E-Mail came from  Smile

Peter, did you get that Email from someone who works for Swiss? Or was he/she just a fan of the airline who felt insulted?
In any case, you are absolutely wright. People shouldn´t take the comments too serious because a slightly nasty sentence under the picture can be very entertaining.

Of course I noticed already the many pictures you have on a.net. Great quality!
Still, I prefer your "RyanDIRTair" pictures!  Nuts
Recently I saw a picture of a Ryanair 737 with big "Auf wiedersehen Lufthansa" titles, reminded me of the Virgin sticker "No way BA/AA". Do you know anyhting about it?

Another lazy attack on Ryanair's name and service.

Every 737-100/200 ever flown has the exact same grime pattern exhibited by the top photo.

Passengers want clean terminals and clean cabins...whether the plane needs a bath is really quite irrelevent. Safety is not compromised.

JonPaulGeoRngo: Indeed, every 1st generation 737 will look like this IF you don't clean it! That was my point. Some airlines spend more on cleaning, others less.

Setjet: The Auf Wiedersehen sticker was of course aimed against LH for the launch of FR's new base in HHN. I haven't seen it myself yet but hope to see it during my next visit to HHN.

Konstantin,

yes, it is indeed no wonder that the LH aircraft look so much cleaner than Ryanair's old birds.... at Ryanair the crew uses the short turn around time to clean up the cabin for the next passengers. At Lufthansa the crew uses the turn around to... but well, see yourself  Wink/being sarcastic

Ah well, can't keep all 300+ aircraft clean all the time...and this was Express, a weak attempt at low cost (again, q.e.d.!)

The "Auf Wiedersehen LH" thing just proves the unprofesionality of FR...and, in my opinion, their insecurity at the thought of being beaten down by a far better airline  Big thumbs up

It all just proves that FR is not the Southwest of Europe. True, in its upstart phase, Southwest also had to battle against the established carriers, and they had to fight their way through court and used provoking advertising. But since they grew more mature, there's no need for them to denounce others anymore. Plus they seem to treat customers a lot better, when it comes to compensation for delays, cancelled flights, lost baggage and so on. And if a customer called Uncle Herb, he would never yell "Who are you to call and demand something from me"...
