AA's BIz Class 777

Thu Mar 21, 2002 2:32 am

How is it. I took a look at a pic and the seats look the same as Delta biz elite on the 767. Im flying today and i was wondering if you can fully recline. Also if you had a choice which would you take the BA biz class with the 2-4-2 or the AA 2-3-2? BA's seats look great but they look narrow.

No business class not.

I am flying today ( instead of yesterday due to the thunderstorms at DFW ) in there First Class and they do fully recline.

The seats are not bad but the recline is about 142 degrees.

Seat pitch in C on the AA777s is the same as DL BizElite at 60 inches but the AA ones don't recline as much as DL's; I don't know the precise recline of the AA ones but DL's recline 160 degrees. Overall, I prefer DL's BizElite seats when fully stretched out.

As to BA or AA, no contest...definitely prefer BA's flat bed seat; it is a little narrow but nothing beats the privacy of those BA pods and 180 degree recline....

I do not know which route you are flying on..However, I took AA 777's biz class from LHR to LAX recently...I thought it was very good. And I was glad to help out a US flag carrier.
