The 8 orders that holds MX are the other 319s expecting them all this year. This far they got 4, they´re missing 8 for a total of 12. I think for now MX that will be all the new expectations for this year. Maybe more B757s...
About the MD-87 those are a very nice arcft in my option, AM basiclly know that are aircraft built around 10 years ago... they have a better cockpit technology/systems than the MD82, built 20 years ago.
AeroMexico, this far, I was told from a friend that works in AeroMexico´s home manteinance at Mex, they told all the personal and areas in the hangar that they will be expecting for 25 aircraft. The idea they got on mind is to "replace" and have a fleet "renew" at the same time.
He told me, most of them think the aircraft in lease first will be B717 for all DC9 replacement... and some B737-8 for MD82s.
DC9s in replacement:
XA-AMA XA-DEI XA-SDF
XA-AMB XA-DEK XA-TFO
XA-AMC XA-DEL N1003P
MD82s in replacement:
15 DC9s + 10 MD82s give a total of the 25 aircraft waiting for.
Hey and Rumors about the B777s is still strong.. they told me both acft were going to be lease from Air France but the problem was that AM doesn´t want the GE90-94B instead of General Electric they prefer PW4090 or PW4098. So let´s see also in what concludes the B777. If they decide to get them in 4 or 5 months we will see them in AM.
