When are they going to receive the A350-1000?
Many happy landings, greetings from The Netherlands!

First delivery set for July with flights to Madrid during the summer for crew familiarization first before going long haul to Dubai and Toronto in early October.

That 0340 arrival into TLV is brutal.

Where is the 788 heading to now?
When wasn't America great?

To have its engines removed. JK, had to.

On a serious note, that flight is with no consistency whatsoever a 788 flight. It constantly alternates between 788, 789, 77E, and A321. This makes me wonder if introducing the A350 is part of a plan to rearrange the general schedule/equipment on the route. Perhaps it will end up with two A350s replaced the other regularly 77W flight. Or maybe this is finally the beginning of the end of the midhaul 321s? One can dream.

Not if you want to have breakfast and be at work by 8AM anywhere besides Tel Aviv.

It's a *tad* early, but as a business traveler it's almost bearable, and the 6AM departure is (almost) perfect for Business travelers on the way out of TLV to LHR.

I fly LHR-BLR once or twice a year and am glad to see it...just a few years ago it was a ratty B744 so having a nice shiny A350-1000 will be pleasant, assuming the interior is comfortable.

Very nice!
Are we going to see most 744 routes become 35K routes or will there be a mixture of 789 and 35K that take over?

That isn’t much, probably each crew member will need around 6 sectors. 3 months would only be around 30 crews worth.
