Breaking News - Delta Express Threat In Boston

Fri Mar 29, 2002 3:55 am

According to MSNBC Delta Flight #565, a Boeing 737-200 enroute to Orlando (KMCO) from Boston Logan (KBOS) returns to gate when a passenger makes a threat claiming "If you don't let me off this plane, lives will be lost." The plane returned to the gate where the passengers were deplaned at which point the plane was moved and is now sitting on a runway, with passengers baggage on the ground and emergency vehicles surrounding the plane. Thats all the information known, from MSNBC...just reporting what was reported on TV.

Now it appears the aircraft never made it to the gate....the airplane was evacuated on the runway. The passenger that made the threat has been arrested.

How long will it be (if it hasn't already) before people associate BOS in the same way they associate Dallas with the JFK assasination? Up here near Manchester (NH) we're happily seeing our traffic and service levels grow, down at Providence too, as BOS continues to build its 'reputation.'

Go MHT!

Please! This guy obviously forgot to take his schizophrenia medicine today. Maybe he came up to buy a computer in tax-free New Hampshire  Smile
