Interesting that they're going to store the planes at LAS rather than in the Mojave Desert. Are storage fees at LAS comparable to those at storage facilities out in the sticks? Anyway, it sounds like a win-win situation for everyone. USAir gets much needed cash for planes they don't need, other airlines get to upgrade their fleet and the businessmen make a profit.

I can see it now a slew of startup companies with md-80's and 737's. Although if US Air was smart they would stipulate that the aircraft have to go oversees.
