LH B744

Can anyone tell me where I can find a seat map of LH's B744s? What type of seating is in the upper deck? Considering a flight ORD-FRA. Any info on the 744 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the link. Do you know seat pitch & width in the various cabins? Also, is it possible to fly one segment in first class and the others in economy?

You´re welcome,

no, don´t know anything about pitch/width, except that it always seemed to be OK for me (6´3´´).

With unrestricted tickets (F, C, Y) anything is possible.

Which class were you in airsicknessbag? I'm 6'3" as well and don't want to be too sandwiched if I'm in economy.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that I was referring to economy.

BTW, I always was in those last three rows (54, 55, 56) by the window, where I only had one neighbour. Don´t know if the last row is reclining or not - so 54, 55 B, J are perfect for window seats, 54, 55 C, H are the ones to pick if you like sitting by the aisle. That said, of course there´s some "traffic" due to the close lavs and galley, but I never minded that.

After looking at the seating chart, basically from row 44 back looks ok. I also think rows 24, 25, 26, 27 would be great window seats as well, due to the wing sweeping back. Then again I've never flow a 744 or transatlantic either. I know some people prefer to sit infront of the engines so they can be included in their photos. Others chose the tail section. If I do take the 744, I'll be taking plenty of onboard pictures as this will be my first trip over the pond. Which side of the plane should I chose for my flight over & back? Do european carriers allow passengers to visit the cockpit after the plane is parked? Now, that would be something.
