Royal Air Maroc 763 And 744

Fri Apr 05, 2002 12:00 pm

Could anyone shed some light on what routes Royal Air Maroc will be using the new 763s on? Will they replace the 744s on Atlantic routes to JFK and Montreal or will the aircraft rotate? Any info, as always is appreciated.

Thanks

Matt

i actually do think they will operate both the 747s and 767 on their transatlantic routes to JFK and Dorval. the 763s being a good alternative when the 747-200 will be taken out of service.

hope that helps

cheers

I forget the exact date in May (I want to say May 7th) but the 744 CMN-JFK will be replaced with 763. That includes YUL.

We rarely see the 747-200 these days, just saw it the other day for the 1st time in months. It's usally the -400 or a replacement like Air Plus Comet A310's or Corsair 747.

Hey,

They operate about 2-3 times a week the B763 on the Brussels - Casablanca route.

In the summer, we see here in Brussels also some times a week the B742, and very rare the B744.

My understanding is the 767s will replace the 747s to YUL completely.

it actually seems that they're using their 767s on short hauls to frankfurt and brussels.
