Urgent...can I Carry A Hair Dryer Onboard?

Wed Apr 10, 2002 12:17 pm

I know I know, being an airline employee you'd think I would know the answer to this, however I work outside under the planes, not upstairs where all the security issues are handled...can I bring my hair dryer on the plane in my luggage? I'm leaving in 45 min's so I need a reply asap!  Smile Thanks guys!

Why not?

I am pretty sure you can! What's the big deal with checking it in?

I know it's a little late but hair dryers are allowed as carry-on items! Curling irons are also.

I couldn't resist... no offence, but what the heck kind of hair style do you have dude? I thought blow dried hair on men went out way way way back in the 80s...

Hope you got on... loads are kinda light this week (at least the ones i'm trying to get on).

Give the guy a break, what are your problems? So immature.

I use a hairdryer when I get out of the shower cause I don't have all day for my hair to dry, have to go to school. I am sure it applies to many people, I know it does in Hong Kong.

I hope SEA nw DC10 has a nice flight on his 757.  Smile

I use a hair dryer religiously at home. But when I travel if I forget it (and there isn't one in the hotel), I towel dry or grease my hair. It all works.

 Laugh out loud

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.
