DTW: 1x (3x this fall)
STL: 4x (5x on Sa)
Pre-9.11: All domestic AA service has been restored pre-9.11 except two flights to DCA, one flight to SEA, and one flight to SJC. In the past, AA has offered a varied amount of routes. Most significantly I remember AUS and SAN.
Future: There are rumours MCI, MSP, and PIT maybe coming online in the next 9 months, as well as the return of SEA and SJC. We'll see what happens, though MIA will be seeing a lot of domestic expansion between 2003 and 2006.
ASU: 1x (via GRU)
GIG: 1x + 1 flight 5x a week
GYE: 1x (2x this fall)
LRM: 1x (2x during winter)
MDE: 5x a week (daily this fall)
MVD: 1x (via EZE)
PAP: 3x (4x during winter)
SAL: 1x (+ one RT 5 days a week)
SCL: 1x (2x during Chilean summer)
UIO: 2x (1x on Monday) (4x this fall)
VVI: 1x (via LPB)
Pre-9.11: Only one route, MIA-ANU, was dropped pre-9.11. Capacity has actually increased to CUN, GCM, SDQ, and PLS and the only other flight not re-instated was the 5th daily to CCS. Two new cities, STI and MDE, are being added in June. PUJ and VLN come in the fall. BAQ was dropped this week, being replaced by nearby MDE, because the Colombian government will not allow AA to serve both.
Future: International is were AA is strongest at MIA, and expansion is endless throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, as well as Europe.
Past: In the past, AA has served MTY, YVR, CZM and FRA.
Pre-9.11: Before 9.11, AE offered 8x daily to MCO, 7x daily to TPA, and 2x daily to SAV (people are taking the train, it seems). Everything else remains the same.
Past: AE used to have a much nicer network out of Miami, including PBI, SRQ, APF, Marathon, St. Petersburg, and Brandenton. Also seasonal to IND and CMH which were popular but never returned because of weight restrictions.
Future: The future is limited, because MIA is in the worst location for regional feed. None the less, AE does plan 150 dailies by 2006. I have no idea were they will come from, but rumours are SAV will be back and new BHM service is possible.
CCS: 5x a week
NAS: 6x (AE)
RDU: 4x (5x SaSu) (AE)
