Star Alliance Plane

Tue Apr 16, 2002 5:39 am

I was wondering, what interior is on this plane? Is it all from one airline or is is each section different? E.G. does the part with the United Paint have United seats? etc.

I don't know what specific Star-Alliance plane you are talking about, but of course every airlines has it's own plane with IT'S interior. Anything else would be a little difficult to manage...

Just imagine: An Star Alliance plane, five different sets of seats, FA's from five different countries, not understanding each other, one is talking in swedish, the other in thai, on one side of the plane you get bratwurst with sauerkraut, on the other pancakes with maple syrup...

you do not get bratwurst wih sauerkraut on any star alliance flight (especially not on LH)
That's like flying an american airline and getting a hot dog, muffin or hamburger.

Hey, a plane like that would be fun to travel in.... But it's hard to manage..... Who knows? Maybe one day, the alliances will be merged into one big airline.... And you get a hybrid of all the airlines!

Wishful thinking....

So what do you think the newer version of the Star logojet with the 15 stickers looks like inside...?

Something like :

1A LH seat
1B UA seat
1C NZ seat
1D SQ seat
1E NG seat
1F OS seat
1G TG seat
1H RG seat
1J BD seat
1K SK seat

And passenger in 1A yelling at passenger in 1C "Hey why do you "!/&$" have a better seat than I do.
etc. hehe

bmi have a B737 painted in Star Alliance logos, I think it probably has a standard bmi interior.

Have bmi painted out the AN logo I wonder?

I can confirm it has standard BMI interior. Well it did last year when I flew on the 737 decked out in Star Alliance logos they were operating.

The Star Alliance logo jets are just that - logo jets! The logo/livery at the forward end of the plane is that of the airline operating, so if it's a bmi logo at the front, it's a bmi plane (and F/As, interior etc.).
