340-600 @ YUL

Tue Apr 16, 2002 10:49 am

Hey everyone, F-WWCC just landed as LH8941 at YUL. I understand it will be leaving tomorrow morning at 11. Does anyone have any more information? I'm wondering where it will be positioned during its time at the airport so that hopefully I can go see it tomorrow morning. Are any fellow YUL'ers planning to take a look?
Next flight.... who knows.

demo to AC mgmt brass no doubt.

makes sense....AC is a key 345/346 customer.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

Montreal is a very busy place for aviation stuff  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
sorry I use my common words but I know they have lots of stuff about aviation like simulators at CAE, bombardier production of RJ (even though now it's a bit slow down  Smile/happy/getting dizzy ...

and I think also some engine production .... not sure

maybe also pilots need training at the same time
or lufthansa futur route need to be fully tested

well it was great theses 15 sec I saw it I was outside on my balcony quite nice ... sad for the clouds but quite nice...

can't wait to see any pictures on airliners

cya guys

If you saw my posting, I saw F-WWCC at SFO today, complete with comments about the plane. The plane is on proving flights on behalf of LH, which will be a major operator of the plane.

By the way, F-WWCC will return to SFO two more times later this week. Big grin I makes me wonder if LH will use the A346 on the MUC-SFO-MUC route.

Well the A340-600 is on it's way to YVR, she took off in an impressive roar from 24L. It's truly a great bird!

That 340-600 is one looooong airplane. Saw it this morning at YUL and snapped a couple of shots too - barely fit the entire thing in the frame! Hope Felix got a couple of good ones...
