Fleet Books

Thu Apr 18, 2002 10:26 pm

I used Airline Fleets World Review 1998/1999. It is now out of date and I need a fleet book by next Friday and I can't find a website that ships the newer 2000/2001 edition. What other good fleet books and websites are there where I can buy a good one for under $40 and has good shipping? Thanks!

Does anyone know the cheapest JP Fleets price? I found around 35 pounds which is like $57. Any cheaper? Would you reccommend JP?

I can recommend JP Fleet Int'l, but it isn't cheap nowadays. Newest edition is around $70. Have you tried www.buchair.com? I don't know if they're still around, but they used to have an office in Forest Hills, NY. Have you also tried Bill Harm's site for some quick info? Anyway, good luck with your search. Regards.

JP fleets is more like $70 dollars and the new one should be out by the end of May so you should try to wait to get the newest info in a book. I think JP Fleets is definatly worth it. The777Man

I just bought it from Buchair. It was the 2002/2003 edition. Is this the newest one?

JP Airline Fleet is also available in a CD-rom version which is cheaper than the book. I can´t rember the price but I pay 89.50 Euros for bokk/CD combined. It contains the complete text and it easier to search for a certain aircraft. As the777man says: wait for the 2002/03 version.
