Tue Apr 23, 2002 10:15 am

The ground handiling company i work for sent a couple of us to PHL to help out a ground handiling company that they had just purchased .Spent five days on the ramp and had a ball! Great people and lot's of action besides the USAIR onslaught there was the daily BA747-400,AIR FRANCE 767-300,LUFTHANSA A-340 ,
RYAN "suntrips" DC-10, MIAMI AIR737-800, PLANET AIRWAYS 727, ATA737-800,NATIONAL 757,etc.Also got a nice tour of the USAIR 767 in front of there MX hanger that is completely stripped no engines, apu, and anything else that they need. They said MX were doing an engine runup and one of the blades detached and caused havoc and a fire about a year ago. Can't wait to go back!

sounds great, i go to spot at philly all the time. it is a shame you didnt come during march, because we were getting the AF 330 for the month, now it is the 763 for a while. surprisingly philly does get a lot of charter flts, i have been noticing the "suntrips" dc-10 myself. it seems like it is always at the airport.
