Atlas Air Colour Scheme

Wed Apr 24, 2002 6:31 am

Looking at recent Atlas Air pictures, it seems like they have dropped their normal paint scheme for a plain white and blue colour scheme, without the globe on the tail. Any idea if this is the new paint job for Atlas Air.

Thank you ,

My guess would be that they "neutralized" their livery due to their many charter flights for the US military in connection with the Afghanistan operation?

This topic was brought up a few weeks ago.
Due to the high level of flying Atlas is currently doing for the US Department of Defense the company did not want to draw attention to itself while serving certain regions of the world, which led to the current generic white aircraft with a blue tail paint job.
