They need to lose that hippie daisy on the tail.

Its okay I suppose. They could esasily have made it more fun with teh other parts of the First Choice Logo like the yello blob. Its fine. Better than MyTravel.

The new livery is not that bad I think. I like it a bit more then the old one. Still it is a good thing, have some new things to photograph when I am in Manchester this summer  Wink/being sarcastic

Not Impressed But...

Their former livery was much, much more impressive and I think when they have simply changed those former colours into more vibrants they had a well upgraded design.

Anyway I like their new green colour. I dislike the powerless flower on the tail and the colourgradient in the fuselage swing. I do not like either the ugly gradient of Vanguard; PUKE! It makes airlines soo fossy!!

cheap looking with the ever so popular watercolour look on the tail, shame they couldn't use more of the colour on the body instead of boring old white as usual !
still, can't be any worse than their previous scheme - think the '.com' says it all really.

I quite like the coloured wavy line although the overall effect is a bit plain. A slight improvement on all the old colours, although as for the splodge on the tail....  Sad

I have to say I preferred the old colours, it is a charter airline, for holidays, thus is entitled to be cheerful, holiday colours, but now a wavy three tone line with a splodge of paint on the tail, come on, where are airline livery designers imagination?

BTW what is it with wavy lines, JMC, Monarch, bmi British Midland all have it, is there bulk discount for them?

Air 2000 New Colours, Notice Anything Missing?

Fri Apr 26, 2002 7:15 am

I like the LanChile-style cheatline and the air2000 titles but not the .com part  Angry

Not quite sure about the tail design, looks like a bit of an afterthought, I know the starfish comes from the First Choice logo, just not sure it's the most effective logo.

One interesting point has been made by CX flyboy in another thread on this;
The whole point of the rebranding was to bring Air 2000 closer into line with the First Choice brand (even though that was the point of the last rebranding which was already very close!) However, unlike the old scheme, the new livery doesn't appear to feature the First Choice name or logo anywhere  Confused

Overall though, I think it's a pleasing, eye-catching design
