It hasn't been discussed that much on a.net. Good to hear that anyway. What routes will AZ use their A319's?

AZ is substituting its old MD80 fleet with A319 A320 A321 and I hope it to scrap some of those old birds.

It will certainly be a welcome change to have Alitalia renew its medium range fleet. The A319s shoudl serve the airline well.

Its strange there are so few discussions on Alitalia. Are there any Azzuri around here?

In the last months Alitalia didn't offer many interesting press relased, so we haven't many news about them.
I think A319 will get the A32X AZ cabin layout with convertible business class seats, so they could use it on both domestic/European network.

Anything new about the rumoured 12 70-seater deal? The A319 order was part of an A321/320 cancellation/swap deal as far as I remember.

Flying-Tiger:
AZ site still says that they're looking for a deal, but not wich manufacturers are involved. I bet that Embraer will get the deal.

Airblue:
Have you taken the info on MXP Spotter's page, isn't it?! I'll surf here anytime I can! Have you read about the 13th international aviation enthusiast convention @ MXP? Can you tell me something more?
