Rare Opportunity For You Spotters...

Wed May 01, 2002 1:55 pm

I was coming back from Evansville, Indiana (EVV) to Louisville Bowman (LOU) when we transitioned over Standiford Louisville International Airport. As we proceeded over the northern portion of the airport, I noticed a nice wide body three holer and it was eventually identified as one of the two Saudi VIP L1011 transports. It sits west off the terminal and the owners are obviously in town for the 128th running of the Kentucky Derby. So, if anybody has a chance to get to Louisville, KY here is your chance to get a pic of a great and rare bird.
Have fun taking pictures.
