Currently CY operates the A310, A320 and A319, however in October this year and April 2003, Cyprus Airways will take delivery of their new A332s.
These will replace the A310s.
With the increased capasity the A332 offers over the A310, is it likely that the number of flights will be reduced?
Currently the A310s are configured to carry about 210 passengers, but a typical 2 class configuration on the A332 can accomodate almost 300 passengers.
CY currently uses the A310s to their most popular destinations for example London. CY currently has 23 flights per week to London (LHR, LGW and STN) in the summer and most of these are scheduled to be operated by the A310s.
But when the A310s are replaced, will there be a need for as many flights?
