Continental Airlines Announces Daily Service Between New York and Two Jamaican Cities
HOUSTON, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today
announced it will inaugurate a daily flight from New York to Montego Bay and
Kingston, Jamaica, beginning December 13, 2001, subject to government
"Adding Montego Bay and Kingston to our international network will bring
us to 49 destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean," said Pete Garcia,
staff vice president for Sales and Marketing, Caribbean and Latin America.
"With this new service we are making Continental a stronger airline in the
region by providing more options for both leisure and business customers."
Continental's New York flight will depart from Newark International
Airport at 9:00 a.m., arrive in Montego Bay at 12:40 p.m. and continue to
Kingston at 1:30 p.m, arriving at 2:05 p.m. The return flight will depart
from Kingston at 3:00 p.m. and arrive in New York at 6:45 p.m. The airline
will operate a Boeing 737-800 aircraft equipped with 14 first class and 141
economy class seats.
