USA 3000?

Sat May 11, 2002 7:09 am

At ORD I saw a 737 with livery of USA 3000. Anybody know what this is? I never scene this a/c before.

Hey there,
USA 3000 is not all that new. They have been around for about a year now. Yes there is some relationship between the defunct Canada 3000 and this carrier. Actually now Angus is Running the show there. I do believe that is what I heard. Also they only fly A-320's Hope this helps

I think their web address is www.usa3000airlines.com they are a charter carrier just as Canada 3000 started out as. Started with A-320's and worked their fleet up to include 757's 330's and 319's. I hope it works out for them. Canada 3000 was a great airline and was very popular here in Canada, So I think that Angus can do a good job with them. Just as long as he doesn't give the planes a horrid interior as he did with Canada 3000.

The color of the seats is just about the only "horrid" thing about those aircrafts. I love all the "JU"(ex C3 reg. a/c) aircrafts we have at SSV. Lots and lots of room in the aisle and clean. When we re-furbish our seats at SSV, I hope we use the same seat type so that all our a/c have lots of room in the aisle.

My vote goes to "Bravo" to be re-furbished first  Smile lol

Don't you a agree SSVers?

Just my 2 cents.

Regards,
Roots Boy

I don't think there is any connection between USA3000 and now defunct Canada3000.

USA3000 is connected with Apple Vacations and operates 3 Airbus A320 aircraft in single class configuration (168 capacity) from PHL, EWR and ORD to Mexico and the Carribbean.

The A320s used by USA 3000 are also brand new deliveries, and did not come from any other carrier.

USA 3000 is part of Apple vacations owned by John Mullens who was part owner of canada 3000. He was part of the revival of C3 which never happened - he could only invest 25% in Canada3000/Newco because of the stupid (My opinion) Canadian Ownership Regulations, hence the company never got off the ground (Again.)
Angus Kinnear is now the President of USA 3000.

I just took a look at www.usa3000airlines.com...not very informative. Weak and unprofessional...agree?

Airman99o, C3 began with the 752, and added A320's after about 5 years.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.

I've seen a few USA 3000 A320's here in Toulouse.
