Virginia/Maryland State Of Emergancy Floyds Fury!

Thu Sep 16, 1999 11:59 pm

Yes. Here is Maryland (and in Virgina, I am in MD), schools canceled, jobs abandon, and bottled water, toilet paprer, and milk shelves at the grocery stores emptied. We are under a state of emergancy. With Tropical Storm Warnings, Flood Warnings, Flash Flood Warnings, Tornado Warnings, Sever Thunderstoorm warnings, AND High Wind Warnings, you would think that Dulles, BWI, and DCA would have closed, and airplanes would have abandon the airport, like MCO, MIA, and others. Although AA have canceled majority of DC/MD inbound/outbound flight, other airlines (althugh there are MANY delas) seem to be running fine. Are there any plans to close the airports?
