Where To See EK's 773 In The Future?

Tue May 14, 2002 7:38 am

Nowadays I only know of LHR getting the EK 773 (EK 001, right Donder10?) in Europe. Are there any plans to upgrade other destinations to the 773?
What are the total destinations that EK uses their 777-300's to worldwide?

Regards,
Max

I know for a fact that EK's B777-300s fly into:

Melbourne, Singapore  Smile

Emirates777 should be able to fill in the rest.

hi Max,

I have some good info for u:

the 777 will be replacing the A330 in some routes, and Emirates is expecting to fly USA and Brazil, maybe Argentina...so could be doing this with the 777 also.
From 2009 to 2015 they will be receiving lots of 773 because they want to increase the average aircraft size, and this info proves my point of view, that they will problably use those for the ultra long flts.
In the future they are looking for Toronto,Wash.,NY,LAX
and maybe more...
Great place to work!

Best regards from Brazil!

I thought the way to increase aircraft size was to buy the A380! Would the 773 have the range to do US flights non-stop? This is why they are getting the A345 anyway! I can't wait to see EK aircraft in AKL in the next year or 2.

Thank you for your replies.

I do hope to see the 777-300 on a scheduled basis in FRA one day...
So far only one 777-300 has ever been to FRA and that was an EK charterflight bringing tourists home after a cruise.
