Website Where I Can Check Loads On A Flight?

Tue May 14, 2002 9:18 pm

Is there a website where I can check how full any given flight is, or would this info only be available to travel agents etc?
I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?

Some airline websites will allow you to view seat maps to see which seats are available. That is about as close as you will get to what you are looking for. Generally these maps really won't give you a very accurate idea of the loads on a particular flight. The best way would find someone who works for an airline. We can access the information on loads either at work or at home online via our employee Intranet.

Try www.ual.com and do a test ticket order.
Choose your airline (NO CODESHARE) and then "choose your seat".
Then the seating map is shown (ca.!!!).

SQ 321 (B744) is full in economy and first. Biz still has about 3 remaining
SQ 974 (B772) more than 9 seats in both C and Y class, unable to see exact amount in the system.

There is really no way for us to tell unless we work for the airline. The only thing we have access to is how many seats are available to sell. Since airlines overbook we cant see the exact load unless we work for the airline.

http://flyaow.com/classavailability.htm
http://www.itn.net/cgi/get?itn/pl/amex_personal/index

Try these 2.
The top one show that your flight was full in coach but seem to have seats available in Business Class.
you just need to know what all the codes are.
Singapore to Bangkok was showing heaps of availability in all classes.

I find the above website helpful if I am wanting to buy Qantas tickets. Qantas gives you your filght price that you chose and then it gives you the cheapest for the day, not much good if all the cheap flights are in the morning and you want to travel at night.

Why fly non stop when you can connect

Who is online
