Any Commercial Airline Magazine Exist?

Sun May 26, 2002 9:53 am

I urgently need help with for my university research project. I need to find out if any USA based Commercial Airline (Commercial Airline only... not mixed with military, scientific aerospace, etc) magazine exists. If not the based from the USA, then any global airline magazine that is exclusively devoted to commercial airlines. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Frustrated...

Flight International is a great source on civil aviation business. You should be able to find it in a reference library - the subscription is quite expensive.

As good as Flight International is, it still has military and other stuff. Ditto for Aviation Week and Space Technology.

For purely airline stuff, I'd try:

Airways Magazine at:
http://www.airwaysmag.com/ and

Air Transport World Magazine at:
http://www.atwonline.com/index.cfm

Generally speaking, Airways is more for the affectioniado, and ATW is more business oriented.

Can't recall the exact subscription rates, but ATW is higher...

Hope this helps...

CPDC10-30,

Flight International also has topics on military aviation so that isn't suitable.

ARGinMIA,

Airliner World based in the UK is exclusively devoted to commercial airliners. Airways and Airliners (both US based) aren't bad either but they focus more on historical topics.

I would recommend Airliner World as thats what I get, although as far as I'm aware its UK based.

What is your project going to be about, is it more business orientated or more operational/engineering?
