Non-Rev Help

Tue May 28, 2002 1:16 pm

I am stumped and have nowhere else to turn. Can anyone point me to a website that tells me if the TGV allows airline discounts. I am going CDG to LYS. I have an ID-90 on AF, but I would prefer to see the French countryside. Also the TGV website is a mess, what a difficult pain it is. Any Info would be appreciated.

I'd say give them a call and ask about airline employee's interlining on them.

You might try the online ASU airline travel guide at:

http://www.asutravelguide.com

It's usually subscription-based, but they have a 3-day free trial option...

Don't we codeshare with them? I am sure there is some discount for that. Just like the SouthBay Flyer from SFO-SJC.

I would say call them. I have used it before but was using a Urarail Pass.

Why don't you fly to LYS from CDG in the first place? Have you ever been on the TGV? Do you know how cramped it is? And even if it is the TGV, it still has quite a noisy cabin.

Well, I do have ID-90's on AF to LYS. But after 6 or seven hours in teh air I think I'd like to try something different. Also I've never been on the TGV, and I'd like to see the countryside. The ground looks like the ground anywherefrom an airplane. Thanks for the help.
