Question On Asia Pacific Air (Malaysia)

Thu May 30, 2002 12:15 pm

I do remember that Asia Pacific Air of Malaysia collapsed in the late 90s due to the Asian economic crisis but lately I've seen pictures of B727-200F in the colors (or atleast) of APA. According to a magazine regarding Boeing 727 operators, APA was listed as flying 2 727-200F. In July of 2001 when I was in Malaysia I spotted a white 727-200F registered either as 9M-TOM or 9M-TQM and I wonder now if that was APAs bird. If anyone has any info regarding this rather elusive carrier please share it with me. Thank you.

Transmile had 9M-TOM for a while last year. Now they have 9M-TGA and TGB.
