What Happened To COs Daytime EWR-LGW

Thu May 30, 2002 12:22 pm

I am not crazy right, but didn't CO have a daytime (morning departure) to London-Gatwick from Newark. Both flights CO 18 and 28 depart and 6:35 and 7:55pm respectively.

When did this change occur and will it be coming back anytime soon (the CO timetable says no).

It probably just makes more sense to have it in the evening. this gives a chance for all the connecting traffic to come in, and offers good arrival times at LGW.

After 9-11 CO switched the morning departure with VS, and VS switched their EWR-LGW flight to LHR so now both VS flights at EWR are to LHR where pre 9-11 they flew to both LGW and LHR from EWR.

CO moved their morning flight to the evening LGW slot VS had, and VS moved CO's morning LGW slot to LHR.
