Virgin Blue In Madrid

Sat Jun 01, 2002 3:42 pm

Two days ago I saw a Virgin Blue 737 in Madrid.

Does anybody know what was it doing so far from "home".

I suppose it was being used by Virgin Express...

Makes you wonder how many stops a 737 does between Australia and Europe.

Hello,

This Virgin Blue is indeed from Virgin Express.

VEX leased some B737's to Virgin Blue, but because Virgin Blue is receiving new aircrafts now, and VEX needs some additional aircrafts for ad hoc charter operations, they are returned to Brussels.

It is already the 3th aircraft that returned.

Regards,
Frederic
