Well, rumor has it that two additional cities are being added in the fall. Supposedly, one will definitely be somewhere in Florida.
MCO had been the front-runner for quite awhile, but from what I've heard, MIA is a strong possibility based on cruise traffic out of both MIA and FLL.
DEN traffic has surpassed anyone's wildest expectations, so COS could also be a distinct possibility in the near term.
AS has quietly moved their focus to bolstering their three key focus cities: SEA, ANC, and LAX. A survey conducted by an outside firm recently stated that AS has the West Coast pretty well locked-up, but they're essentially forcing their most frequent fliers to travel on other carriers to other destinations outside their home markets. This was one of the reasons to make slow, well-timed expansion into some of these other desired markets, such as CUN, BOS, and DEN.
The only thing AS is lacking right now are airplanes! They could use another five to ten at least.
