Royal Jordanian Returning To Detroit

Thu Jun 06, 2002 9:12 pm

Flights will be operated once a week via Shannon using the A310-300. Will the route be permanent this time or seasonal like in the past?

I'm thinking seasonal. Do you know what day it will operate on? Last summer, it was on Tuesday's.

Tuesday's this Summer also, as follows;

RJ 267 Amman 1200 - 1600 Shannon 1715 - 1945 Detroit
RJ 268 Detroit 2145 - 0930 Shannon 1030 - 1800 Amman.

I believe Detroit hosts the largest Arab community in North America, is that true?

If I'm not mistaken, Dearborn (between DTW and Detroit) has the largest Arab population outside the Middle East.

I can't wait to see those planes back at DTW.
