What Happened To AA7 Today (DFW-OGG)

Fri Jun 07, 2002 10:32 am

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what happened to AA 7 today. It left DFW and diverted to PHX, then made a stop in LAX and is presumably on its way to Maui right now.

What would force an aircraft to divert twice on the same flight? Thanks for your help

I saw that plane make an emergency landing at PHX yesterday. Emergency vehicles chased it down the runway, but it taxiied onto the gate. It was a real treat because American doesn't normally fly 767-300s into PHX. The plane sat on the ground for about 5 hours before it departed again.
