Kelowna Flightcraft

Fri Jun 07, 2002 12:21 pm

Hey folks just wondered if anyone has any info on what type of charters and ad-hoc flying KFC has picked up for their pax configured convairs this summer? I have heard maybe flying cadets around BC but can anyone confirm?

Thanks in advance.

Hey y'all,

...and how is their Air Columbus operation doing? Haven't had a chance to see their 27's out of YUL yet...

Apparently pretty good according to the Manager of Inflight who handles the Kelowna base and the YUL one. She said that they are thinking of possibly assigning another a/c to the Air Columbus flights.

On a side note, I saw C-FKFP stripped of Purolator titles and with Contract Air Cargo on the side at YHM recently. Sale or lease?

Contract Air Cargo had purchased 2 of their CV-5800's awhile ago.

KFP was probably sold as I am pretty sure it was taken off the Canadian registry a week or so ago and bound for the U.S. I believe that KFC are moving towards an all 722 fleet and eliminating the 727-100s.
